ChatGPT now shows Kalshi World Cup prediction odds in search results
The New York Times report said ChatGPT presents team implied win probabilities from Kalshi, but OpenAI says the feature is informational and does not enable betting.
OpenAI has begun displaying Kalshi’s FIFA World Cup prediction market odds in ChatGPT search results, a move The New York Times described as the AI firm’s first reported partnership with a prediction market platform. Cointelegraph reports that the integration had not been publicly announced at the time of publication.
According to Cointelegraph, ChatGPT shows graphics with each team’s implied chance of winning based on Kalshi’s market data when users search for specific matchups. The report cited examples where a France vs. Spain query showed France at a 59% win chance and an England vs. Argentina search showed England at 55%, with Kalshi data shown as the forecast source.
Cointelegraph also notes that OpenAI’s guidance, as cited by The New York Times, says the feature does not let users place bets through ChatGPT. Instead, the Kalshi odds are intended for informational purposes only.
Kalshi is a regulated prediction market platform that lets users trade contracts tied to real world events, including sports and other categories. Cointelegraph added that Dune Analytics data shows Kalshi recorded more than $33 billion in monthly notional volume in June 2026, about $22 billion ahead of Polymarket.
