Accenture wins multi-million euro NATO cloud contract for 7 years
Accenture said the deal is worth around 200 million euros over the contract period and will support secure cloud services for about 29,000 users across the Alliance.
Accenture plc has announced it signed a multi-million euro contract with NATO’s Communications and Information Agency for the Protected Business Network, or PBN, program. Yahoo Finance reports the company will work with Leonardo to deliver the contract over the next seven years.
The agreement is aimed at building NATO’s secure, cloud-enabled digital enterprise. According to the company, Accenture and Leonardo will design, implement, and operate the core PBN platform across a multi-cloud environment provided by NCIA.
Accenture said the platform will support progressive deployment and long-term adoption of secure cloud services for roughly 29,000 users across the Alliance. The contract’s estimated value is around 200 million euros over the seven-year term.
In a separate update, Yahoo Finance said TD Cowen raised its Accenture price target to $151 from $150 and kept a Hold rating, citing an updated model that factors in higher projected share repurchases for fiscal Q4 tied to its $2 billion raised plan.
