Jim Cramer highlights IBM’s software strength and quantum push

IBM recently announced a partnership with Deloitte and Red Hat focused on strengthening supply chains against cyberattacks.

Yahoo Finance reports that Jim Cramer continued to express support for International Business Machines Corp., despite what it described as relatively modest share price performance through 2025.

The outlet said Cramer’s praise centered on IBM’s software business and its quantum computing initiatives, arguing the company has one of the more developed quantum computing efforts in the industry.

Yahoo Finance also cited IBM’s late June announcement of a partnership with Deloitte and Red Hat aimed at fortifying supply chains against cyberattacks.

In discussing IBM’s prospects alongside other AI themes, the outlet added that Cramer noted the potential for IBM to face risks related to its partnership with Starbucks, while still describing IBM as one of his preferred names.
