Bühler adds NovaBlue II and NovaWhite brushless sieve cleaners
The new cleaners are designed for improved mobility and include a wear indicator to support replacement during flour processing.
Bühler has expanded its lineup of brushless sieve cleaners with NovaBlue II and NovaWhite, products aimed at different needs in flour processing, including use in plansifters. The company says the cleaners are compatible with all Bühler sieve stack versions, including Nova, NovaTec, and NovaPur.
NovaBlue II builds on the NovaBlue model introduced in 2017, with an added emphasis on magnetic detectability. Bühler says ferrite additives enable detection via magnetic systems, while the blue material supports visual identification, whereas NovaWhite is positioned as an alternative without magnetic and visual detectability.
Bühler also says the geometry of the new cleaners has been adapted to improve mobility and increase cleaning performance. The products feature an easy to interpret wear indicator intended to help users replace components as needed.
World Grain notes grain storage and handling companies are increasingly focused on efficiency, and it points to related equipment projects it covered, including GEAPS board visits to Ag Growth International’s 187,000 square foot Sioux Falls facility on June 16. The article mentions AGI Hi Roller and AGI Tramco conveyors and an AGI bucket elevator manufactured at that site.
