Trump Media weighs up to $100,000 monthly fee for Truth Social feed

The company launched a paid licensed data feed, Truth API, for banks and trading firms, targeting the fastest access to posts from 10 influential accounts.

Trump Media and Technology Group is considering charging Wall Street traders and investment firms as much as US$100,000 a month for faster access to posts by Donald Trump on Truth Social, according to people familiar with the matter cited by SCMP Economy. The discussions also include a discounted option of US$60,000 per month for firms that sign up for a three year plan, the sources said.

On Thursday, TMTG unveiled a paid, licensed data feed called Truth API, designed to deliver the fastest access to posts from the 10 most influential Truth Social accounts, SCMP Economy reported. The company did not provide pricing details for the new feed at launch.

SCMP Economy said the initiative would be TMTG’s first step into data licensing, creating a potential new revenue stream. It also drew immediate criticism from Democrats, including US Senator Ron Wyden of Oregon, who said the arrangement could financially benefit the Trump family and enrich Wall Street traders.

The White House referred questions about Wyden’s remarks to TMTG, which did not immediately respond to a request for comment, SCMP Economy added.
