US June industrial production rose 0.1% as output gains stayed modest
Capacity utilization held at 76.1%, slightly below the 76.2% expected, while manufacturing output came in at 0.0%.
US industrial production increased 0.1% in June, compared with expectations for a 0.2% gain, according to Forexlive.
The prior month was reported as a 0.1% increase, with output previously at 0.1% but later revised to 0.1%.
Capacity utilization was 76.1% versus the 76.2% forecast, and manufacturing output was flat at 0.0%, below the 0.1% expected increase.
