Yoda PLC signs 113,000 SF of leases for Transamerica Pyramid
The owner paid $691 million for the 48-story tower and expects new office suites at Two Transamerica to come online in the fourth quarter.
Yoda PLC, the new owner of San Francisco’s Transamerica Pyramid, has announced seven new office leases totaling 113,000 square feet, including five deals signed since it acquired the property in March, according to Bisnow.
The new tenants include companies in the legal and finance technology industries, plus a flexible workplace operator. Yoda PLC said its priority is maintaining continuity for existing tenants while positioning the building for long-term success.
Yoda PLC also outlined additional development and amenity upgrades across its Transamerica properties, including plans to develop 10 speculative, turnkey office suites at Two Transamerica on 505 Sansome Street and to add new amenities at Three Transamerica on 545 Sansome Street.
The offices are expected to come online in the fourth quarter, and the company plans new restaurant concepts at Three Transamerica and renovations at Redwood Park on 600 Montgomery Street. Bisnow noted that the Transamerica Pyramid underwent hundreds of millions of dollars in renovations after prior owners bought it for $650 million in 2020.
