Principle Construction finishes warehouse expansion for POLI FILM in Illinois
The renovation added 38,956 square feet and included a relocated 12-panel precast concrete wall to scale production without a full site move.
Principle Construction Corp. has completed a warehouse renovation and expansion for POLI FILM America, Inc. at One Elgiloy Drive in Hampshire, Illinois, according to ConnectCRE.
The project adds 38,956 square feet to the manufacturing facility and was designed to support POLI FILM’s high-volume protective plastic film operations with a more streamlined, rectangular floor plan.
A key part of the work involved relocating 12 precast concrete panels from an existing 133-foot wall, allowing the company to expand within its current footprint rather than relocate entirely.
The update also included a new entry door and drive-in door, a gas-fired make-up air unit, a ballasted roof, and lighting, with architectural designs provided by Harris Architects and project management by Principle’s Andrew Mackintosh.
