Arcus adds tokenized stocks and perpetual futures on Robinhood Chain
The dYdX-built DEX says it offers more than 95 stock tokens, with Paxos-issued USDG used for collateral and settlement.
Arcus, a decentralized exchange backed by Robinhood Crypto and built by the team behind dYdX, launched tokenized stocks and perpetual futures on Robinhood Chain, according to Cointelegraph.
The platform previously rolled out spot markets when Robinhood Chain went live on July 1, and it now expands to perpetual markets tied to equities, exchange-traded funds, commodities, indexes and crypto assets.
Arcus said it provides more than 95 stock tokens and uses Paxos-issued stablecoin USDG as its primary collateral and settlement asset, with trading via a self-custodial account model.
Cointelegraph reports Arcus’s stock tokens are not available in the US, Canada, the UK, and other restricted jurisdictions, and the company highlighted that self-custodial support helps users retain control of their assets.
