Mercor signs 5-year lease for 25,550 SF at One World Trade Center
The Durst Organization said the deal helps keep One World Trade Center nearly fully leased, with asking rent estimated in the high $80s to $90s per square foot.
One World Trade Center in Lower Manhattan is nearing full occupancy after the Durst Organization announced a new lease with artificial intelligence company Mercor, according to Commercial Observer.
Mercor has signed a five-year deal for 25,550 square feet on the 77th floor, with the asking rent reported to be in the high $80s to $90s per square foot, though the exact figure was not disclosed.
Durst, which co-owns the 104-story building with the Port Authority of New York and New Jersey, said it expects to welcome Mercor as part of its tenant roster, while Mercor said the location places its team near major enterprises and high-caliber talent.
The article notes that One World Trade Center was built through a public-private partnership between the Port Authority and Durst, and that other recent tenants include W Magazine, Ameriprise Financial, and Energy Capital Partners.
