SBI Funds Management shares rise after IPO debut on BSE and NSE
The stock started trading with a premium of 6.2% to the ₹574 issue price on the BSE, topping ₹625 during the session.
SBI Funds Management began trading on July 21 on both the BSE and NSE, extending gains after its IPO debut in India. On the BSE, the shares opened at ₹610.0 each, a 6.2% premium to the ₹574.0 issue price.
The stock climbed as high as ₹625.0, rising up to 8.9% from the IPO issue price and about 2.5% above the listing price. On the NSE, shares listed with a 6.9% premium at ₹613.3 and reached a high of ₹624.95.
Market expectations were tempered by signals from the grey market premium, with the IPO listing described as below Street estimates. Ahead of the debut, the GMP indicated listing at around a 16% premium.
SBI Funds Management is described as India’s largest asset management company by quarterly average assets under management, with mutual fund QAAUM of ₹12,509.98 billion and a 15.3% market share as of March 31, 2026. Including portfolio management services and advisory mandates, total QAAUM stood at ₹29,461.05 billion, according to the article.
