Bio-Techne set for Q4 results as analysts expect EPS to fall
The life sciences company has topped or met Wall Street bottom-line estimates in each of the past four quarters, even as analysts look for a 9.8% year-over-year EPS decline in fiscal Q4 2026.
Bio-Techne, a life sciences company with a market cap of $11.3 billion, is set to report fiscal Q4 2026 results soon, according to Yahoo Finance. The company develops and sells reagents, instruments, and services across Protein Sciences and Diagnostics and Spatial Biology segments.
Ahead of the earnings release, analysts expect Bio-Techne to report EPS of $0.46 for the fiscal fourth quarter, down 9.8% from $0.51 in the year-ago period. While that would mark a decline, Yahoo Finance notes the company has surpassed or met Wall Street bottom-line estimates in each of the past four quarterly reports.
For the full fiscal 2026 year, analysts project EPS of $1.65, a 3.5% drop from $1.71 in fiscal 2025. They also expect EPS to rise 6.7% year-over-year to $1.76 in fiscal 2027.
Recent trading has reflected investors' sensitivity to biotech demand trends. Yahoo Finance says shares gained 35.3% over the past 52 weeks, but fell 16.4% on May 6 after Bio-Techne reported weaker-than-expected Q3 2026 results, including revenue down 2% year-over-year to $311.4 million and adjusted EPS of $0.53.
