Eternal reports 268% profit jump in Q1FY27 as revenue surges
For Q1FY27, profit fell 47.1% quarter on quarter even as consolidated revenue from operations rose 16.9% sequentially to ₹20,211 crore.
Zomato parent Eternal reported Q1FY27 results for the April to June quarter, posting a 268.0% year over year jump in consolidated profit to ₹92 crore, according to LiveMint Markets.
The company said consolidated revenue from operations increased 182.0% year over year and 16.9% quarter on quarter to ₹20,211 crore, with growth linked to its shift to the 1P model in quick commerce. That change also affected revenue recognition, as revenue now includes the full monetary value of goods sold versus a largely commission-based approach in Q1FY26.
Eternal added that its consolidated net order value rose 54.2% year over year to ₹31,120 crore. It also disclosed that adjusted revenue grew 173.0% year over year to ₹20,648 crore.
As part of an internal restructuring, Eternal announced a business transfer agreement to move operations under the name ‘Nugget by Zomato’ to Carthero Technologies Private Limited, a wholly owned subsidiary. The company also reported adjusted EBITDA for its food delivery segment rising by ₹155 crore to ₹606 crore, with adjusted EBITDA margin improving to 5.6% of NOV.
