Robinhood Chain overtakes Base on daily active users
On July 21, Robinhood Chain logged 323,969 daily active users, while spot DEX volume and chain fees also ran ahead of Base.
Robinhood Chain surpassed Base on daily active users on July 21, about three weeks after Robinhood Crypto launched the network’s mainnet, according to Artemis data cited by The Defiant.
Artemis showed Robinhood Chain at 323,969 daily active users versus Base’s 274,520, with the chain also setting a record $588.9 million in total value locked the same day. The lead in daily active users shifted multiple times in mid-July, with Robinhood Chain ahead from July 11 to July 15, Base ahead from July 16 to July 20, and Robinhood Chain returning to the top on July 21.
The network also edged out Base on spot decentralized exchange activity, with $624 million in the past 24 hours compared with Base’s $603 million, and it generated $198,215 in chain fees versus Base’s $52,081. TVL moved sharply after the July 1 mainnet launch, climbing from below $5 million in late June to new highs almost daily through July.
Artemis data attributed the largest share of Robinhood Chain’s TVL to Morpho at $260.6 million, or 44%, followed by Ethena at $155.9 million, or 26%. Capital inflows via the canonical bridge pushed its escrow to $216.7 million from near zero in early June, while stablecoin supply reached $438.8 million, up 30% over the past week, according to DefiLlama.
