Senate crypto bill would bar federal officials from issuing digital assets
CNBC Markets reports that a new version of a Senate crypto bill, the Clarity Act, would place new limits on federal officials who sponsor or issue cryptocurrency.
According to CNBC Markets, the proposal would amount to the first such restrictions on federal officials, including the presidency, related to digital assets.
