111 Point office-to-apartment project tops 65% leased milestone

The 111-unit luxury conversion has 100 of 153 residences leased, with pre-leasing starting in April and residents moving in during May.

ConnectCRE reports that 111 Point, an office-to-apartment conversion in River North, has surpassed the 65 percent leased milestone. The project has 100 of its 153 luxury residences leased, after pre-leasing began in April and the building first welcomed residents in May.

The development transformed a former office building previously occupied by Salesforce and WeWork into modern luxury apartments on floors 5 through 10. The project is designed by Pappageorge Haymes Partners, developed by Path Construction and WindWave Real Estate, and Path also serves as the general contractor.

ConnectCRE says Cushman & Wakefield provides property management, while Luxury Living handles leasing and marketing. The apartments at 111 W. Illinois St. include features such as 10- to 11-foot ceilings, expansive windows, walk-in closets, and in-unit laundry.

WindWave Real Estate managing partner Jon Cordell said the company has been encouraged by market response, describing the adaptive reuse project as blending modern design with urban convenience and offering condo-quality finishes plus an amenity package.
