E Ink begins expansion of Billerica Innovation Center in Massachusetts
The company expects construction to finish by March 2027, adding space to its Billerica Innovation Center that employs 260-plus people.
E Ink has broken ground on an expansion of its U.S. headquarters in Billerica, Massachusetts, enlarging the footprint of its Billerica Innovation Center, a central site for the company’s global R&D work, according to ConnectCRE.
The innovation center is home to 260-plus E Ink employees, and the project is designed to expand that campus as part of the company’s next phase of development.
Construction is expected to be completed by March 2027, with NV5 Planning & Design, Inc., IF Design L.L.C., and SPEC Process Engineering & Construction, Inc. supporting the work.
ConnectCRE also noted that E Ink was spun out of the MIT Media Lab in 1997 and has been headquartered in Billerica since its inception.
