Proposed tariffs could raise U.S. generic drug prices, Dr Reddy’s CEO warns

Dr Reddy’s CEO said the higher costs would likely be passed through to patients in the U.S. market.

CNBC Markets reports that the CEO of Indian pharma company Dr Reddy’s warned that proposed U.S. tariffs on generic drugs could push up prices for patients.

According to the report, the executive said the tariff-related cost increases would make generic drugs more expensive in the United States.
