Robinhood Chain sees tokenized equities surge to about $70 million

Tokenized stocks now clear at least $500,000 a day apiece, with GameStop, Nvidia, and SpaceX among the busiest, while memecoins and stablecoins still dominate overall activity.

CoinDesk reports that Robinhood Chain, the decentralized network designed to bring equities onchain, has seen real-world assets jump to about $70 million in active market value. The outlet says the figure is roughly a fivefold increase in less than two weeks, as tokenized equities begin trading at larger sizes.

According to CoinDesk, a dozen tokenized stocks are now clearing at least $500,000 in daily volume, including GameStop, Nvidia, and SpaceX. Several of those tokenized shares are also doing more than $1 million per day, with the outlet citing daily volume of $26.6 million for a tokenized GameStop share, $14 million for Nvidia, and $6.4 million for SpaceX.

The article also notes that Robinhood Chain’s broader growth remains partially driven by trading in other token types. CoinDesk says stablecoins and memecoins still account for most activity, even as total value locked has roughly tripled since mid-July to about $312 million.

CoinDesk further reports that Robinhood Chain is clearing more than $600 million in daily decentralized exchange volume, putting it among the more active networks in crypto. It also says the network has logged more than 138 million transactions in 30 days, while memecoins remain the most traded tokens on the chain.
