TRUMP meme coin wallets move 10.8M tokens toward exchanges
Lookonchain says 10.84 million TRUMP tokens, valued around $16.91 million, were routed via BitGo before possible exchange listings as the token is down more than 66% over five months.
President Donald Trump teased a possible fourth presidential term at the White House Correspondents’ Association dinner, while a Trump-branded meme coin continued to draw market attention as related wallets moved tokens toward exchanges.
According to blockchain tracker Lookonchain, wallets associated with the team behind the Official Trump meme coin transferred 10.84 million TRUMP tokens, worth roughly $16.91 million. The assets appeared likely to be routed through crypto custodian BitGo before reaching exchanges, and no sale was confirmed.
The report also said these token movements have coincided with renewed scrutiny of project-linked holdings as TRUMP’s price has fallen. Lookonchain estimated project-linked wallets have moved 48.25 million TRUMP, worth about $172.4 million, across three batches over the past five months.
During that same period, TRUMP has dropped more than 66% and traded around $1.55, down about 3% over the prior 24 hours. The outlet noted that token transfers do not prove causation for the decline, but that moving tokens to custodians or exchanges can support liquidity, market making, distributions, or eventual sales.
