NatGold Digital finishes second tokenization, delays Kraken start
The company said NATG trading on Kraken, expected July 8 at 10:00 a.m. EDT, has not yet begun and it has not received a reason or timing update.
NatGold Digital Ltd. completed tokenization of its second NatGold Certified Resource, lifting total NATG generated and minted from 57,200 to 106,800, according to a Cryptocurrency News release.
The additional tokenization covered an Alaska 4 patented mining claim at the Friday Gold Mine in Idaho, which generated and minted 49,600 NATG. The first tokenization covered patented mining claims 45 and 46 for the Cahuilla Gold Project in California, generating 57,200 NATG, bringing the two U.S. properties together under the NATG smart contract.
NatGold Digital also acknowledged that trading in NATG on Kraken, which was expected to commence at 10:00 a.m. EDT on July 8, 2026, has not yet started. At this time, the company said it has not been informed of the reason for the delay or when trading will begin.
The company said the 106,800 NATG were minted through the NATG smart contract and recorded on the Ethereum blockchain, describing the two completed tokenizations as the first completed applications of its patent-pending digital mining model to NatGold Certified Resources. In a statement, CEO Andrés Fernández said the second tokenization establishes a foundation for NATG and shows the model can be applied across qualifying resources.
