Lido begins consolidating millions of staked ETH to new validators

Ethereum staking protocol Lido has started consolidating a large amount of staked ETH as it begins rolling out its Curated Module v2, The Block reports.

According to the outlet, the upgrade has begun moving more than 8 million ETH onto Ethereum’s larger post-Pectra 0x02 validators.

The Block characterizes the effort as Lido consolidating $16 billion worth of staked ETH toward those validators, reflecting a shift in how the protocol organizes its staking infrastructure.
