A-1 Limited shares jump 5% to 5.71 after Q1 results and bonus plan

The company reported net profit up 429% year-on-year to ₹3.16 crore and said it has approved a 3:1 bonus issue and a stock split in prior quarter filings.

Shares of A-1 Limited, a penny stock trading below ₹10, hit the 5% BSE upper circuit at ₹5.71 on July 28 after the company posted strong earnings for the quarter ended June 2026 and outlined upcoming corporate actions.

According to LiveMint Markets, A-1 Limited’s standalone net profit rose 429% year-on-year to ₹3.16 crore, while revenue from operations jumped 170% to ₹175.01 crore from ₹64.69 crore in the year-ago quarter.

The company attributed the performance mainly to its acids and chemicals business, where segment results before interest and finance costs increased to ₹514.86 lakh from ₹126.05 lakh in Q1 FY25. It also reported modest profit in its sports equipment segment of ₹13.08 lakh.

LiveMint Markets also noted that in a prior board approval for the quarter ended December 31, 2025, A-1 Limited cleared a 3:1 bonus issue and a stock split that reduced the face value of each equity share from ₹10 to ₹1, with the record date set for January 8, 2026. The stock has been volatile, with a 52-week high of ₹70.41 in November 2025 and a 52-week low of ₹5 on July 5, 2026.
