Sky Equity starts vertical construction on Tribeca condo at 65 Franklin St
The 24-story luxury tower broke ground in April, and Sky Equity plans to launch sales next year after completing foundation work.
Sky Equity Group has started vertical construction on its upcoming luxury condominium project at 65 Franklin St. in Manhattan’s Tribeca neighborhood, with foundation work already completed.
ConnectCRE reports the 24-story tower is rising above the corner of Franklin Street and Broadway. The building broke ground in April, and sales are slated to launch next year.
Sky Equity Group is led by founder Simon Dushinsky, who said the milestone supports the firm’s expansion of its Manhattan condominium portfolio. He also described the design as intended to complement Tribeca’s architecture and historic streetscape.
ConnectCRE adds that Sky Equity secured a $320 million construction loan with G4 Capital Partners last year for the ground-up condominium. The developer also acquired the neighboring site at 59 Franklin St. and additional air rights from 361 Broadway, and after a 2025 restructuring and recapitalization with HAP Investments, Sky Equity became the project’s sole developer.
