Bloom Energy beats Q2 targets as AI data-center power demand boosts growth
Bloom Energy raised 2026 revenue guidance to as much as $4.2 billion, after Q2 revenue surged to $1.07 billion and operating cash flow turned positive.
Bloom Energy reported Q2 2026 results on July 28 and delivered a stronger-than-expected outlook for AI-driven onsite power demand, according to Yahoo Finance.
The company surpassed both top- and bottom-line forecasts, with Q2 revenue rising 166% year over year to a record $1.07 billion. Product sales grew 215.4% to $935.4 million as AI data-center operators sought onsite electricity.
Adjusted EPS came in at 78 cents, nearly double the analysts' 41 cents estimate, and sales exceeded the $826.1 million consensus by about 29%. Bloom also reported a 604 basis-point increase in non-GAAP gross margin to 34.3% and a jump in non-GAAP operating margin from 7.1% to 22.5%.
Bloom said operating cash flow swung from a $213.1 million outflow to a $226.4 million inflow. It lifted 2026 revenue guidance from $3.4 billion to a range of $3.8 billion to $4.2 billion, implying 100% growth at the midpoint, and raised adjusted EPS guidance midpoint by about 32% to $2.70.
