The piece also spotlights MassMutual, saying it holds the same AM Best Financial Strength Rating of A++ (Superior) as New York Life, and adds that it is rated highly for having fewer complaints. It also notes MassMutual offers guaranteed level premium periods for term life insurance policies.
Nationwide is included as well, with Yahoo Finance stating it recently marked 100 years in business, and describing the company as offering flexible policies and riders, supported by an AM Best Financial Strength Rating of A+ (Superior).
