Burman Real Estate breaks ground on $130M Mineola condo project

The nine-story development at 212-214 Third St. in downtown Mineola is planned to deliver 101 for-sale residences plus a 10,000-square-foot event venue.

Burman Real Estate, along with AJM Real Estate, Caiola Real Estate Group and Park It Management, broke ground on The Bridge, a $130 million, nine-story condominium development in downtown Mineola, New York, according to ConnectCRE.

The project will include 101 for-sale, luxury residences and a 10,000-square-foot event venue, and it will be located at 212-214 Third St. directly across from the Mineola Long Island Rail Road station.

ConnectCRE reports that nearly 100 local officials, business leaders, project partners and community stakeholders attended the groundbreaking ceremony at the development site, which featured proclamations and a ceremonial shovel turn in front of project renderings and excavation equipment.

In remarks carried by ConnectCRE, Burman Real Estate principal Scott Burman said the project targets what he described as a gap in Long Island’s housing market for high-quality condominium ownership opportunities, offering an alternative to single-family living in a connected downtown location.
