Renewed Hormuz hostilities add uncertainty to ECB rate decision
CNBC reports several days of US and Iran strikes have increased uncertainty ahead of the ECB’s decision next week.
Renewed tensions around the Strait of Hormuz have added uncertainty to expectations for the European Central Bank’s next policy decision, according to CNBC Economy.
The outlet said several consecutive days of strikes exchanged between the United States and Iran have contributed to an “extremely volatile” outlook, complicating rate planning for the ECB next week.
