Trump urges adding Iran tariffs to Russia sanctions bill
Trump said he wants tariffs on Iran folded into a sanctions bill that would target Russia and entities supporting its war in Ukraine.
CNBC Markets reports that President Donald Trump said he would like to see tariffs on Iran added to a bill that would impose economic sanctions tied to Russia and its war against Ukraine.
Trump also said the Iran trade with the United States is “trivial,” while arguing for including tariff measures alongside the proposed sanctions package.
