Bitcoin ETFs stop a four-day outflow slide with $32.1M inflow
BlackRock’s IBIT accounted for $89.8M of the single-day gain, offsetting $43.1M outflows from FBTC and $14.6M from ARKB as the rest of the complex was flat.
U.S. spot Bitcoin ETFs reversed a four-session losing streak on July 29, ending the day with $32.1 million in net inflows, according to CryptoSlate.
The rebound was driven almost entirely by BlackRock’s iShares Bitcoin Trust ETF, IBIT, which pulled in $89.8 million, while Fidelity’s Wise Origin Bitcoin Fund, FBTC, saw $43.1 million exit and ARK 21Shares Bitcoin ETF, ARKB, lost $14.6 million.
CryptoSlate notes that IBIT’s $89.8 million inflow exceeded the complex’s net total by $57.7 million because the outflows from Fidelity and ARK reduced BlackRock’s contribution, leaving every other listed product with zero net flow for the session.
The partial recovery did not fully undo the prior downturn, as the preceding four trading days totaled $526 million in net outflows and the five-session period remained $494 million in the red, with Bitcoin finishing the session below $65,000 and up 0.6% over the prior 24 hours.
