Coinkite has issued a warning to Coldcard Mk3 users after reports of 594 BTC theft, urging customers to take immediate steps to protect funds, The Block reports.

In its guidance, the company recommends creating a strong and unique BIP-39 passphrase directly on the device.

Coinkite also told users to move funds to the wallet generated from that new passphrase, according to The Block.
