Forexlive said the focus is on the China July manufacturing PMI, with official data described as not encouraging. The private survey was reported at 49.2 versus 50.0 expected.

The calendar also noted New Zealand’s new dwelling consents, which fell 3.6% month over month and rose 32.1% year over year.
