Bitcoin spot ETF outflows hit $265.4M on July 31

Ether funds posted a $9.0M net inflow, but only ETHB was positive, leaving the broader rotation case unproven.

U.S. spot Bitcoin funds recorded net outflows of $265.4 million on July 31, reversing a $233.1 million inflow from the prior session, according to CryptoSlate.

The day was broadly negative across listed Bitcoin products, with BlackRock's IBIT down $122.7 million, Fidelity's FBTC down $54.8 million, and Grayscale's GBTC down $52.6 million, while BITB and ARKB each lost about $17.8 million and $17.5 million, respectively.

Ethereum saw a $9.0 million net inflow, but the gain was concentrated in BlackRock's iShares Staked Ethereum Trust ETF, ETHB, which brought in $15.4 million; other Ether products were flat or declined, including FETH, ETHW and Grayscale's mini Ether trust, which fell a combined $6.4 million.

CryptoSlate said there is limited evidence of a sustained rotation toward Ether over the five sessions from July 24 through July 30, noting Bitcoin funds lost a combined $36.2 million while Ethereum products lost $69.7 million, even though a longer 10-session window from July 20 through July 31 was more favorable for Ethereum.
