Airbus, Jabil, and Valero Energy have announced major share repurchase authorizations, a move tied to improving financial signals and sector-specific momentum, according to MarketBeat Ratings.

Airbus, the commercial aircraft manufacturer, updated its long-term outlook to target adjusted earnings before interest and taxes (EBIT) of 12 billion euros to 13 billion euros in 2029, compared with 2025 adjusted EBIT of $8.4 billion. The company also approved a €5 billion buyback program, described as about 3.1% of its market capitalization, and said the program lasts three years.

Jabil, a technology manufacturing services company, highlighted recent share performance and data center demand, including growth in its Intelligent Infrastructure business. In Q3, Intelligent Infrastructure revenue rose 21% year over year to $4.2 billion, representing 48% of total sales, and Jabil authorized a $1.5 billion buyback, noted as about 4.6% of its market capitalization.

Across the three firms, MarketBeat Ratings said the buyback authorizations collectively exceed $10 billion, with the companies pointing to strong earnings, guidance, and share-price performance in their respective segments.
