Hugging Face CEO says China’s AI models could catch up this year

Clément Delangue said Chinese open models may match or surpass U.S. systems sooner than expected, starting as early as 2025.

Hugging Face CEO Clément Delangue said China is advancing quickly in artificial intelligence, with Chinese models potentially catching up to the United States as soon as this year, according to CNBC Markets and CNBC World.
