Muji signs a 10-year lease at Alloy Block in Downtown Brooklyn

The development also added Winner by Michelin-star chef Daniel Eddy, a 10-year cafe and bakery lease scheduled to open in the fall.

Muji has signed a 10-year lease for 10,000 square feet at Alloy Development’s 100 Flatbush Avenue in Downtown Brooklyn, making the Japanese home goods and apparel retailer the larger of two new tenants moving into the Alloy Block complex, Commercial Observer reports.

Alloy Block is a five-building, mixed-use development. Commercial asking rents in the project were cited as $225 per square foot for street-level space and $75 per square foot for lower level space, according to the landlord.

In addition to Muji, Winner by Michelin-star chef Daniel Eddy signed a 10-year lease for 2,726 square feet for the concept’s second location at Alloy Block. The cafe will serve a mix of Parisian and Nicaraguan baked goods and is expected to open in the fall, the outlet said.

Alloy Development added that CardVault by Tom Brady opened a 973-square-foot store at 80 Flatbush Avenue in March, and that the complex includes the all-electric tower at 505 State Street and One Third Avenue.
