Bessent says a deal could open Strait of Hormuz with freedom of movement
CNBC reports that U.S. Treasury Secretary nominee Scott Bessent said there may be a deal as soon as Tuesday or Wednesday aimed at opening the Strait of Hormuz.
Bessent described the goal as enabling freedom of movement through the strategic waterway, according to CNBC.
