Bitmine said its latest buys brought its Ether holdings to 5,797,813 ETH, about 4.8% of the circulating supply, as it targets 5% of total ETH.
Cointelegraph reports that Bitmine Immersion Technologies added more Ether and continued its stock-buyback program, buying 10,399 ETH last week and repurchasing 4.5 million shares.
In a disclosure dated Aug. 4, 2026, the company said it held 5,797,813 ETH worth $10.9 billion. That stake represents about 4.8% of Ether’s 120.7 million circulating supply, and Bitmine reiterated a target of holding 5% of the total ETH supply.
Bitmine also reported it holds 209 bitcoin, along with $173 million in cash and marketable securities, and equity stakes in Beast Industries and Eightco Holdings. It said its combined crypto, cash, securities, and other investments were valued at $11.3 billion.
The outlet added that Bitmine repurchased 16.1 million common shares since July 1 under a previously authorized $4 billion buyback program, including the 4.5 million shares bought last week. It said the latest update follows a near 10,000 ETH purchase announced July 28, when it noted about 85% of its ETH holdings were staked through its validator operations.
