Stocks look set to extend gains as oil eases after Iran comments

Stocks were poised to extend gains as oil prices slipped following comments from President Donald Trump’s Iran envoy, Howard Bessent, suggesting a deal may be close, according to WSJ Markets.

The report said stocks were also set to rise ahead of SpaceX’s first earnings release, which investors are watching for fresh signals on the company’s outlook.

WSJ Markets framed the setup as a continuation of the prior momentum, with crude moving lower and markets awaiting the next major catalyst from SpaceX.
