Todd Blanche advances to full Senate vote after Judiciary panel approval

Senate confirmation still requires 50 votes on the floor after he clears the Judiciary Committee, according to CNBC Markets.

CNBC Markets reports that Attorney General nominee Todd Blanche was approved by the Senate Judiciary Committee, moving his nomination forward to a full Senate vote.

The outlet said Blanche will still need 50 votes on the Senate floor to be confirmed after clearing the committee.
