Ardent opens Class-A self-storage facility in Woonsocket, Rhode Island
The three-story, 80,000-square-foot site includes 913 climate-controlled units and was remediated under Rhode Island’s voluntary cleanup program before construction.
Ardent Companies and Ironwood Development Partners have opened a Class-A self-storage facility at 153 Hamlet Ave. in Woonsocket, Rhode Island, according to ConnectCRE.
The property is three stories tall and spans 80,000 square feet, with 913 climate-controlled storage units. Extra Space Storage will manage the facility.
ConnectCRE said the project turns a long-vacant brownfield into operating storage, supported by remediation completed through the Rhode Island Department of Environmental Management’s voluntary cleanup program.
The companies said the opening marks Ardent’s first completed development in Rhode Island and the 10th asset delivered through its Self-Storage Development Fund II.
