Congress recess gives Clarity a short window in the Senate
The bill’s near-term path depends on completing a Senate vote before lawmakers leave for the month-long recess.
The Block reports that the US Congress is set to begin a month-long recess next week.
That timing gives the Clarity bill only a brief three-day window to advance through the Senate, raising the odds that it will need to move quickly to reach a vote before lawmakers step away.
According to The Block, Bitwise CIO Matt Hougan said crypto will be fine even if Clarity fails to pass in that window, framing the situation as a tight timing issue rather than a longer-term market outcome.
