Disney+ will allow fan videos featuring clips from its library
The company said the fan-created clips will be “thoughtfully curated,” using material from Disney’s existing library.
The New York Times Business reports that Disney will expand what can appear on Disney+ by allowing fan-created videos to be posted on the platform.
Disney said those submissions will be “thoughtfully curated,” and that the videos will use clips from Disney’s library.
The change is designed to open up additional video content on Disney+, while keeping editorial control through Disney’s curation.
