Google reshuffles AI leadership as Jeff Dean exits and Demis Hassabis steps down
Google announced it is reshuffling parts of its AI organization, with senior leadership changes affecting its AI research and DeepMind unit.
CNBC Markets reports that chief scientist Jeff Dean is exiting, while Demis Hassabis will step down as CEO of DeepMind as part of the restructuring.
CNBC World also described the same leadership transition, noting Google made the announcement on Wednesday.
