Peter Lee family office signs Kazakhstan green energy MOU

The memorandum of understanding involves site selection, feasibility studies, and support for regulatory approvals for projects tied to sustainable aviation fuel, smart energy, and energy storage.

The family office of Peter Lee Ka-kit, co-chairman and managing director of Henderson Land Development, has signed a deal with Kazakhstan authorities to advance green energy projects in the Central Asian country, according to SCMP Economy.

The cooperation was sealed on Tuesday and announced on Wednesday during Lee’s visit to Kazakhstan and his meeting with Prime Minister Olzhas Bektenov.

Under a memorandum of understanding, signed with the Alatau City Authority and Kazakhstan ministries of energy, agriculture and transport, the government bodies will support Full Vision Capital by identifying sites and local partners, conducting feasibility studies, and helping ease regulatory approvals.

The agreement covers sustainable aviation fuel production, smart energy solutions and advanced energy storage technologies, SCMP Economy reported, citing Bektenov as saying Kazakhstan is committed to its green energy transition and sees Full Vision Capital as a strategic partner.
