Vodafone Idea schedules Aug 27 AGM for FY26 financial results
Vodafone Idea said it will consider Q1FY27 results at the AGM and also reported standalone FY26 profit after a one-time AGR reassessment gain.
Vodafone Idea has scheduled its 31st Annual General Meeting for Thursday, August 27, 2026, to consider the financial results for the quarter ended June 2026. The company said the meeting will be held at 4:30 p.m. IST via video conferencing, citing SEBI listing regulations in a regulatory filing.
The telecom operator also published its FY26 annual report, outlining a turnaround strategy focused on fundraising, network expansion, and balance sheet repair amid intense competition. It said its investments in 5G, broadband infrastructure, and digital services, along with relief on the long-pending Adjusted Gross Revenue issue, have laid groundwork for a stronger future.
Vodafone Idea reported standalone profit after tax of ₹34,482 crore for FY26 after accounting for a one-time gain related to the AGR reassessment. Total income for the year was ₹44,949 crore, compared with ₹44,183 crore in FY25 and ₹42,383 crore in FY24.
The company added that even after adjustments required under Section 198 of the Companies Act, including prior-period loss adjustments, it still had inadequate profits for remuneration purposes during FY26. It pointed to turbulence in the telecom industry between 2015 and 2019, and said the AGR verdict increased liabilities and uncertainty while forcing cash outflows that limited investment and competitiveness, contributing to subscriber losses.
