China launches cybersecurity review of Palo Alto Networks products
The Cyberspace Administration said the probe aims to protect critical information infrastructure and reduce cybersecurity risks for national security.
China has launched a cybersecurity review into products sold in China by US cybersecurity and cloud computing firm Palo Alto Networks, the Cyberspace Administration of China announced, according to SCMP Economy.
The administration said the review is intended to ensure the secure and stable operation of critical information infrastructure, prevent cybersecurity risks and vulnerabilities, and safeguard national security.
Palo Alto Networks, described by the outlet as a leading provider, said its solutions are used by tens of thousands of clients across industries including finance, technology, and energy.
