DLD Asset Management expands into Hong Kong with senior hire
The move adds a first senior recruit in the city, with the firm aiming to extend its relative value trading activities across Asia.
DLD Asset Management, a US hedge fund manager, is setting up a presence in Hong Kong as it looks to expand relative value trading activities across Asia, according to a report by Bloomberg cited by Hedgeweek.
The firm plans to do so by hiring Sohit Khurana, co-founder of Maso Capital Partners, as its first senior recruit in the city, Hedgeweek reported.
The appointment is intended to support DLD Asset Management’s buildout in Hong Kong as it strengthens its operations in the region.
