Hyperscale shifts Bitcoin capital to AI as 2027 revenue forecast tops $350M
The company expects AI, Michigan data center and related robotics revenue to contribute $40M to $50M in 2027, while its Bitcoin holdings fell to 958.5352 BTC after selling 150.5 BTC for about $9.6M.
Hyperscale Data said its AI expansion will be a smaller part of its 2027 revenue outlook even as it redeploys recent Bitcoin capital toward building an AI data center. CryptoSlate reports the firm projects revenue of as much as $350 million in 2027, with Adjusted EBITDA of $60 million to $80 million, based on contributions across its three operating platforms.
The company’s AI transformation is expected to generate $40 million to $50 million next year from its Michigan data center, AI infrastructure, and robotics businesses, which would amount to about 11% to 17% of projected revenue. CryptoSlate also notes that most revenue for the impending year is expected to come from lending, digital assets, and portfolio companies.
Hyperscale said it sold 150.5 BTC for approximately $9.6 million in the week ended Aug. 2, bringing its holdings down to 958.5352 BTC worth about $60.8 million. The firm also borrowed roughly $30 million against part of its treasury through Morpho at a variable rate of about 4.9%, and said it could deposit Bitcoin produced by its mining operations into the protocol to support the loan.
To fund the AI buildout, the company estimated that developing the first 20 megawatts of critical capacity will require $100 million to $120 million, with the first 10 megawatts expected to begin operating before the end of 2026. CryptoSlate reported that the next portion would follow after the initial capacity comes online.
