Next Technology to execute reverse split, changing Bitcoin-per-share math

The Nasdaq-listed firm plans a 1-for-100 reverse split on Aug. 10, 2026, while reporting roughly 5,833 BTC on its balance sheet at June 30.

Next Technology Holding Inc. (Nasdaq: NXTT) will execute a reverse stock split that will turn every 100 shares into one, with trading expected to open on a split-adjusted basis at 12:01 a.m. ET on Aug. 10, 2026. The company’s Aug. 5 filing projects the outstanding share count will fall from about 147,296,192 shares to about 1,472,962.

The move is the company’s second reverse split in less than 11 months. Its prior 1-for-200 action took effect on Sept. 16, 2025, cutting roughly 566.3 million shares down to a later audited count of 2,862,556, with later filings showing small differences in intermediate share counts that the article says remain unreconciled.

CryptoSlate highlights that although the split changes the number of shares outstanding, Next Technology’s reported Bitcoin holdings remain on its balance sheet. The firm reported approximately 5,833 BTC at both June 30 and at a later-reported Sept. 30 balance, which the article calculates causes Bitcoin per share to drop by about 98% after the September baseline, before the Aug. 10 1-for-100 ratio would adjust that calculation upward for new shares.

The article also details share growth since the September reset, including equity-plan grants that added 2.02 million shares to bring the total to 4,882,556 by Dec. 31, plus a March registered direct offering that added 71,381,818 common shares. It says pre-funded warrant exercises added another 71,031,818 shares during the second quarter, lifting the June 30 total to 147,296,192, while also noting an equity-incentive plan reserve that the filings project will remain untouched after the split.
